TRIBUTE TO BOWLING OLD LANE'S MR CRICKET BRIAN CLOUGH 1932-2015
Brian Clough
Brian Clough, one of the legendary amateur players of the JCT600 Bradford League, died on Wednesday aged 82. Clough, affectionately known as Mr Cricket, scored more than 10,000 runs in a distinguished playing career which spanned a record seven decades and saw him play for Spen Victoria, Lightcliffe, Bradford and Bowling Old Lane. He passed away at Dewsbury Hospital after a short illness. His funeral will be at St Paul's Church, Birkenshaw on Tuesday, February 10 at midday.
