The scene at Undercliffe for the 2014 Priestley Cup final between Pudsey St Lawrence and Cleckheaton

The Management Board have announced the venues for the finals of this season's three knockout competition finals.

The Priestley Cup final will be played at Undercliffe on Sunday, August 27, a popular venue for the showpiece occasion.

Pudsey Congs will host the Jack Hampshire final for the first time on August 13, while Methley will stage the Priestley Shield final on September 3.

Undercliffe last staged the Priestley Cup final in 2014 and when a big crowd saw Pudsey St Lawrence defeat Cleckheaton.

League chairman David Young said: "There was considerable interest from clubs wanting to stage the finals. We feel that the three clubs we have chose will do a fine job.

"I would like to thank all those clubs who made applications to host the finals. It is certainly a healthy state of affairs when we have a good number of clubs looking to stage showpiece games."
