11. League  Season
The League playing season shall be determined by the Management Board but will not commence before the third Saturday in April. All matches shall commence at 1pm, except for those in September which shall commence at noon.
 
 
12. Promotion and Relegation
The Management Board are empowered to decide on the promotion and relegation of clubs for the following year.
Clubs are advised that all promotions are subject to criteria attainment. Criteria for the Premier League will be set per ECB Premier League Criteria. Clubs not maintaining these criteria will not be eligible to play in the Premier League.
In the event of two or more clubs in a division having an equal number of points at the end of the season, their relative positions shall be decided by the side having won more matches taking precedence. If this still leaves them even, then positions shall be decided by dividing their average runs per wicket for, by their average runs per wicket against. st.

13. Failure to Fulfil Fixtures
Any club failing to fulfil league fixtures shall be penalised 20 points against both their first and second teams and fined £50 per offence. They must also pay any costs incurred by their opponents. Their opponents will automatically receive 10 match points 3 batting and 4 bowling points.
 
 
14. Re-arranged Fixtures
Bradford Premier League cup and league Fixtures must take precedence always and no Club shall be permitted to postpone any cup or league fixture or field an under-strength side in either of these competitions for the purpose of competing in any alternative Competition organised by any outside body. The only exception being when a club reaches the final of a National Competition staged on a league match day. The postponed league match will be played on a date specified by the Management Board.
 
 
15. Match Reporting
The system to be used will be notified to all clubs prior to the start of each season.
Clubs who fail to comply with the directive will be fined £10 for each discretion.
All clubs shall provide live scores for their first teams when playing at home, clubs failing to comply will be fined £10 on each occasion. All club secretaries are responsible for ensuring their club’s computer is maintained in good order and that it is not used inappropriately or that no software is installed on to the computer unless directed to do so by the league chairman. The Management Board will determine the punishment for breaching this directive.
 
 
16. Registration of Players
Registrations are administered by the league's Admin Executive who can be emailed at registrations@bradfordcl.com
All players must be registered electronically as advised annually.
ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED, BEFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN ANY LEAGUE, CUP OR SHIELD GAME.
All players must complete and sign a copy of the league registration form which is to be retained by their club and produced on request from a league official.
Those players over the age of 18 on August 31, 2016 must also supply a recent photograph of themselves.
The club will then submit an application for registration on-line. Clubs engaging players not having played for them the previous season MUST forward a correctly completed YCB player transfer form to the Admin. Executive before such registration will be accepted.
The transfer form can be scanned and attached to the on-line registration as a pdf, or delivered to the Admin Executive by email attachment, post or by hand. Once the registration has been approved the players name, picture and registration will be displayed on the site.
Registrations for consideration MUST BE RECEIVED by the Admin. Executive by no later than midnight on the Thursday prior to the pending weekend matches.
A club playing an unregistered player shall be liable to a penalty to be determined by the Management Board. This penalty may include a fine and / or points deduction.
IT IS EACH CLUB’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL REGISTRATIONS & TRANSFERS ARE BONA FIDE.
A club shall not register a player from another club outside the league for occasional matches only.
In the event of any player being dismissed by his club, and providing the Management Board supports such dismissal on investigation, the player shall be debarred from taking part in league or cup competition matches.

17. Transfer of Players
No transfers between clubs within the league may take place for players who have played first team cricket during the current season. Transfers for second team cricketers and players from outside the league are allowed up to July 31 in any season. Players may only transfer once in any season. A player from another club within the league or from another league shall not play with any league club until the necessary YCB transfer form has been deposited with the Admin Executive and the transfer approved. All transfers after the commencement of the season shall be subject to an administration fee of £20.
