Woodlands v Jer Lane
Jer Lane have established a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier Division and have a game in hand on their closest challengers, Woodlands, who they defeated by 13 runs.
The result was revenge for the Gordon Rigg Priestley Shield semi-final defeat they suffered against Woodlands six days earlier and was secured by the bowling of Nasir Chowdrey (6-24) and Bobby Khan (3-58). They pegged back Woodlands after Nathan Bromby (68) and Nicky Rushworth (53) looked to have established a platform to chase down the Jer Lane score of 235.
Adnan Mahmood (77) and Haseeb Rehman (58) top scored for Jer Lane despite the fine efforts of Rob Medcalf (7-63).

New Farnley v East Bierley
East Bierley slipped deeper into relegation trouble as they suffered a five-wicket defeat at the hand of third place New Farnley. Only Reece Clark (42no) resisted for long as East Bierley were bowled out for 127 with evergreen Andy Langley taking 5-28. Lukas Ruane was unbeaten on 42 when New Farnley secured victory.

Bowling Old Lane v Morley
Second bottom Morley allowed a great opportunity to secure a much-needed win. After bowling out Old Lane for 75 they collapsed to 70 all out in reply. Andrew Kirkwood (4-38) and Chris Blakeney (3-30) bowled out Old Lane before Saad Khan (5-13) and, Mohammed Akif (3-17) it back to give their side victory by five runs.

Pudsey Congs v Hanging Heaton
Defending champions Hanging Heaton tied their game with Pudsey Congs when their top scorer Craig Russell (71) was bowled by Liam Stanhope with the scores level. Stanhope finished with 3-18 but the main wicket taker was Josh Chapman (5-54).
Ayaan Khokar (35) and Zak Stolarski (33) were top scorers for Pudsey Congs in their total of 167 while Jamie Baulk (4-40) and Finnley Morgan (3-15) were the best of the Hanging Heaton bowlers.

Bankfoot v Gomersal
Gomersal are now 37 points above the relegation positions after their six-wicket win over Bankfoot. The experienced trio of Craig Woodhead (59), Javid Umarji (49) and Tony Blain (31no) enabled them to overhaul the Bankfoot score of 220.
Subhaan Ammar (35) was Bankfoot’s top scorer while Muhammed Salman (30) and Kian Phillipson (28no) added 64 for the last wicket. Joel Pollard (5-44) and Matthew Barnes (3-34) were Gomersal’s main bowlers.

Pudsey St Lawrence v Batley
Dave Heslop (51), Brian Devine (47) and Sam Johnson (40no) guided Pudsey St Lawrence to a seven-wicket win. Batley’s total of 162, which featured 40 from Altaf Hussain, was restricted by the bowling of Heslop (4-19) and Ricky Heslop (3-36).

Ryan Blackburn finished 95 not out and Mohammad Atif scored 67 as leaders Farsley chased down a Townville score of 200-9 to win by eight wickets. Blackburn and Atif shared a second wicket stand of 154.
Townville skipper Kieran Samuels, who has topped 1,000 in all matches this season, added 66 to his tally while Alfie McMillan scored 31 against a bowling attack in which Kesar Arshad took 4-23 and Richard Sutcliffe (3-43).

Bradford & Bingley v Carlton
Some aggressive batting by Zaid Saleem (66) backed up the efforts of Warren Allitt (55), Jack Sharp (34) and Reece Cockshott (30) as second place Bradford & Bingley edged past Carlton’s score of 222 to win by two wickets.
Liam Morris (3-24) was the best of the Carlton bowlers while Brett Cullen (73) and Simon Parker (42), were their top scorers. The best Bradford & Bingley bowler was Archie Barraclough (3-32).

Lightcliffe v Yeadon
Only Mohammed Tayyab (33) made an impression as Yeadon were bowled out by Lightcliffe for 150 as they slipped to a six-wicket defeat. Ryan Beeforth (4-25) was the pick of the home side’s bowlers, while Michael Brooke (48), Evan Edwards (34) and Finn Brookes (33no) guided them to their victory target.

Hartshead Moor v Great Preston
Hartshead Moor boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation with a five-wicket win over bottom team Great Preston. The victory was set up by Robert Swift (4-27) and Jeff Wind (3-50) as Great Preston were dismissed for 105. Simon Richardson (36no) and Andrew Croft (30) helped Hartshead Moor knock off the runs despite the efforts of Luke Slater (3-24).

East Ardsley v Cleckheaton
East Ardsley hauled themselves off the bottom of the table with a 78-run win. Ben Smith (71) and Joe Hall (56) put on 122 for the first wicket before Corey Calvert (40) helped boost their side’s total of 277-8, Elliot Halls taking 4-82.
Babar Malik (71no), Elliot Hallas (40) and Craig Blackburn (33) battled hard for Cleckheaton but could not save their side from defeat as they were bowled out for 199 with Steve Blow taking 4-80.

Yeadon saw the chance of victory disappear down the drain as rain led to their match with Townville being abandoned after they had dismissed their opponents for just 61 with Paul Machell (5-17) and Abu-Bakar Siddiq (3-21) doing much of the damage.

Hunslet Nelson are just nine points behind Crossflatts after dismissing Windhill & Daisy Hill for 52 and cruising to a nine-wicket win. Sulaimaan Shah (3-9) and Joshua Morris (3-22) were the pick of the bowlers while Jamal Khojani (42no) sped Nelson past the visitors’ score.

Adwalton v East Leeds
East Leeds compiled the division’s highest score of the season as they piled up 363-7 in their 189-run win at Adwalton. Shamoon Mushtaq led the run spree with 107 while Noor Ahmad (91), Rajab Ali (82) and Shahzaib Ayub (52) joined in the fun. Mushtaq and Ahmad added 117 for the second wicket while Ali and Mushtaq put on 148 for the third wicket. Joseph Higgins (4-29) emerged with the best bowling figures.
Ben Allison (43), Connor Patrick (39), Chris Curtis (36) and Hadi Butt (33) led the Adwalton reply of 174. Ibrahim Safi (3-27) was the best East Leeds bowler.

Kavan Patel (101no) and Jonny Walker (100no) shared an unbroken fifth wicket stand of 150 which helped Gildersome & Farnley Hill post a score of 235-3 as they defeated Scholes by 106 runs. Walker hit 18 fours and Patel (13).
Scholes were bowled out for 129 with Chris Dawson taking (3-34) and Ben Clay (3-11).

Skipper Nathan Ellis took 5-46 as Wrenthorpe bowled out Spen Victoria for 124 to complete a 112-run win. Razeeb Raja (37) and Jerome Austin (35) were Spen’s top scorers but they fell comfortably short of the visitors’ total of 236-5 which included 74 from George Holden, 67 from Ellis and 36 by Paul Marshall.
