Bye for Woodlands in national cup

Woodlands have been handed a bye in the Preliminary Round of this season’s ECB Royal London Club Championship.

The Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League champions, who will be led by Kiwi Brad Schmulian, will make their bow in the competition with a first-round tie at the home to the winners of the  Preliminary Round clash between Wakefield Thornes and Harrogate.

The winners of the first round encounter will then face an away encounter against either the 2018 winners Richmondshire, Hetton Lyons or Sessay.
