Dan Revis hit his maiden All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League century as Bradford & Bingley returned to second place in the Premier Division with a 105-run win over Hanging Heaton.
Revis struck a six and nine fours in an unbeaten 101 which helped his side to inflict a fifth straight league defeat on Hanging Heaton.
Jack Hartley was the other key figure in Bradford & Bingley’s success. He hit a brisk 31no which swelled the Wagon Lane side’s total to 258-7 and backed that effort up by taking 4-37 as Hanging Heaton could only manage 153 in their reply.
The only crumbs of comfort for Hanging Heaton were the bowling of Tom Chippendale (3-61) and David Stiff’s knock of 43 not out which spared them from a bigger defeat.
The match had to be re-arranged when it was revealed that Wagon Lane would host the Bingley Live music event on August 30 with 8,000 spectators expected on the day when the match was due to be played.
