Long serving East Bierley stalwart Eddie Brady passed away on Tuesday after a period of illness.
He was groundsman for a number of years and always welcomed players, umpires, scorers and visiting officials to the home ground at South View Road. In recent years he had also acted as club treasurer.
Away from cricket, he served for many years as a magistrate and was at one time chairman of the Dewsbury bench.
He leaves a widow Ann, two children Simon and Sarah and grandchildren.
A statement on East Bierley's Facebook account said: "Eddie has been a massive part of the club for many years taking up many roles and has been part of many great things.
