Guide for fans going to Play-Off final

Guide for fans going to Play-Off final

If you are going along to Clean Slate Headingley for Sunday's Yorkshire Premier League Play-Off final between Appleby Frodingham and Woodlands, here are some handy tips.

Car parking
This is free and is available in Car Park F which is located between the rugby ground and the railway bridge in St Michael's Lane. Please park considerately and do not block in other vehicles or cause an obstruction.

This is free, and all spectators should enter via Gatehouse B which is opposite the Yorkshire Cricket School. Everybody will be accommodated in the East Stand section of the ground. Please do not try to enter other areas.

Food and Drink
Spectators may take their own food and drink into the ground. Each person is limited to four cans of beer. Bottles and glasses are not permitted in the stadium and stewards will be on hand to spot any breaches.

Long Room
The Long Room will be open from 10am to 6pm for the sale of food and drink. Please note that all transactions are by card. No cash is accepted so be prepared.

Match programme
To avoid the handling of money a free 16-page on-line match programme has been produced. This can be viewed on a mobile phone, tablet or laptop and can also be downloaded and printed off if required.

View match programme
The publication will be updated after the weekend to include the full match scorecard and pictures from the game so that it can form a souvenir for spectators.

Scoreboard and announcements
The giant scoreboards will be in use throughout the game and each new batsman and bowler will be announced over the stadium PA.

Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
The Yorkshire Premier League Management Board urge all spectators to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II before the game. The two teams will wear black armbands and spectators will be asked to join them in observing a one minute silence. The National Anthem will be played before the start of play.

And finally
The Yorkshire Premier League Management Board is delighted to be able to use the magnificent facilities at Clean Slate Headingley and hope that all spectators will respect them and enjoy a wonderful day's cricket.
