New boys Jer Lane get home opener

Premier Division new boys Jer Lane will open the 2023 season with a home game against Ossett on Saturday, April 15. The match will see the return of Bradford Premier League cricket to Park Avenue which is where Jer Lane will play their first team games.

Champions Woodlands will begin their bid for a fourth-successive title with an away fixture at Hanging Heaton, while Pudsey St Lawrence host Townville in what promises to be the game of the opening day.

Pudsey Congs face a trip to near neighbours Farsley on their return to the top flight and will renew rivalries with St Lawrence when they visit Tofts Road on Monday, May 29.

The two newly promoted clubs in Division One both start with away game. Sandal go to Baildon while Yeadon visit Carlton who finished third last season.

Gordon Rigg Jack Hampshire Cup winners Buttershaw St Paul’s play hosts to Keighley in their opening game while the two promoted clubs, Liversedge and Heckmondwike & Carlinghow both start with home fixtures.

Liversedge take on Hopton Mills while Heckmondwike & Carlinghow entertain a Wrenthorpe side who have suffered successive relegations.
