Heavy Woollen Cup quarter final draw

The draw for the quarter finals of the Solly Sports Heavy Woollen Cup has thrown up an attractive all-Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League tie.

Holders New Farnley, who overcame Broad Oak on Sunday, visit Bradford & Bingley who claimed the scalp of Yorkshire Premier League champions Castleford.

Townville have home advantage for their clash with Honley – second round conquerors of Hanging Heaton – while Batley and Methley both face away ties.

Batley visit Huddersfield Leaguer side Scholes who have already knocked Farsley and Hoylandswaine out of the competition, while Methley visit Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League side Wakefield Thornes on Sunday, June 5.

QUARTER FINALS
Townville v Honley
Bradford & Bingley v New Farnley
Scholes (HL) v Batley
Wakefield Thornes v Methley
Ties to be played Sunday, June 5.


CROWTHER CUP
Woodlands have been  reinstated into the Crowther Cup after Cawthorne, who beat them in the first round, were adjudged to have fielded an ineligible player.

Hoylandswaine v Kirkburton
Undercliffe v Farsley
Barnsley Woolley Miners v Woodlands
