League president's vote of thanks

League president Keith Moss is full of admiration for the way the Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League has responded to the difficult challenge presented by Covid 19.

The mixture of League Cup and T20 cricket has been well received and provided good competition. It has been played hard and in a good spirit.

Keith Moss says: "We are fast approaching the culmination of what has ben a highly fractured season. Words of appreciation and thanks are due to the Management Board who were determined to ensure that meaningful and competitive cricket was played despite the challenges presented by Covid-19.

"They showed leadership and determination in all they did, and they should be happy with what has been achieved.

"The clubs, players, umpires, scorers, and groundsmen have risen to the challenge. I extend a big thank you to everybody for their contributions. A lot of work has been done and it is greatly appreciated.

"I want to extend my best wishes to everybody in the Bradford League community. Let us hope we can resume next April with a full programme of cricket to enjoy."

Please remember all League Cup matches start at 12,30pm from this Saturday, September 5.
