Marsden arrived at the wicket with his side struggling at 36-3, but he soon changed the complexion of the game in partnership with Haznat Yousaf (81). Together they added 226 as the Lightcliffe bowlers were made to suffer in the sun.

Jack Hendy (38) top scored for Lightcliffe as they lost wickets at regular intervals with spinners Yousaf (3-16) and Lewis Lomax (3-23) benefitting.

Hartshead Moor will now visit Buttershaw St Paul’s in next Sunday’s semi-finals. Heckmondwike & Carlinghow take on Northowram Fields.
