There will be a new name added to the list of winners of the Gordon Rigg T20 Group B Cup on Sunday.
Finalists Sandal and Northowram Fields will be bidding to become the fourth team to lift the trophy when they meet at Carlton (1pm).
For Northowram Fields it will be an opportunity to make amends for losing in last year’s final to Jer Lane at Birstall.
But they will come up against a Sandal side unbeaten so far this season in both the League Cup and T20 competitions.
This is the first of two matches that will define Sandal’s season. They also visit Jer Lane in the Division Two League Cup final next Saturday.
The Sandal club could also land a third trophy with their second team through to the final of their League Cup competition.
Danny Riley, Sam Scott and Matthew Westwood have all been in good batting form for Sandal while their key bowlers have been Zaeem Zulfqar and Juned Delair.
Northowram Fields have struggled in the League Cup and they come into the final looking to end their campaign on a high.
Josh Bennett Keer and Joe Hough impressed with the ball in last Sunday’s win over Adwalton which enabled them to pip holders Jer Lane for top spot in Pool One.
They will be hoping that their young batsman Kyle Welsh can provide them with quick runs at the top of the order as they look for their first Bradford Premier League honour.
Spectators attending the game are reminded they must observe social distancing at all times.and follow the Covid-19 regulations in place at Carlton.
