Ollie bounces in for his England debut

 

Ollie Robinson has become the latest player who has appeared in the Bradford League to make his Test debut for England.

Robinson was part of the Lightcliffe team which won the Priestley Cup in 2013 by defeating Hanging Heaton in the final at Farsley, was selected to face New Zealand at Lord's after impressing for Sussex.

The Test match also features three more people with Bradford League backgrounds. New Zealand all rounder Colin DeGrandhomme on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough and third umpire Richard Illingworth.

DeGrandhomme spent one season at Baildon as a youngster before moving to New Zealand, while Kettleborough appeared for Pudsey Congs while Illingworth played for Salts and Yeadon.
