Clee inspires Woodlands Shield win

Woodlands claimed the last place in the semi-finals off the Gordon Rigg Priestley Shield with a four wicket win over holders New Farnley.

Tom Clee (85) and Kieran Collins (48) rescued Woodlands from 12-3 and helped them chase down the New Farnley's score of 230-4. Josh Griffin was unbeaten on 30 when victory was achieved with one over to spare. Kai Watson (3-22) was New Farnley's best bowler.

Former Woodlands player Mark Lawson (80) top scored for New Farnley while Flynn Barker made 42 and Tom Lilley (38).

Woodlands will be away to Pudsey Congs in the semi-finals.
