Former Hanging Heaton scorer and league secretary John Virr is looking forward to a busy summer on international duty.
Virr is set to score at Emerald Headingley in three World Cup games, the One-Day international between England and Pakistan and the England v Australia Ashes Test.
The regular Yorkshire second team scorer will need to swat up on his Asian cricketers. His three World Cup assignments are Pakistan v Afghanistan (June 29), Afghanistan v West Indies (July 4), and Sri Lanka v India (July 6).
His programme of internationals kicks off with the England v Pakistan One-Dayer on May 19 and the undoubted highlight will be the five days of the England v Australia Test which starts on
