SF Barnes of Saltaire took the highest number of wickets in a season, 122, and recorded the lowest average of 4.10. His full analysis was 247overs 63maidens 501runs 122wickets.


SF Barnes won the bowling averages for a record ninth successive year

T Goddard (1stXI) and A Goddard (2ndXI) both took hat-ricks on the same day for Saltaire.


B Jenkinson of Lidget Green won the WH Foster Bowling Trophy to complete a unique hat-trick having won the WH Foster Batting Trophy in 1957 and the AB Waddington Fielding Trophy in1958
